Tamara is a Colorado Native who moved to the Coachella Valley in 2002 to pursue a career in the Aesthetic Industry. With extensive experience in business management and marketing, she became the Practice Manager for Cosmetic Surgery Institute in 2008. With a strong desire to grow the business and open a second location, Dr. Mo Zakhireh, Marisa Rivera, and Tamara opened SkinLab in the busiest shopping district in Palm Desert in 2020.

Tamara continues to manage the daily operations of the surgery center and business operations of SkinLab. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her husband and two boys, traveling, golfing, and skiing.
