Training & Education
A University of Texas at San Antonio graduate, Dr. Ball finished a year of rotation internship at VMC in Fresno, followed by another year of general surgery there, then three years at White Memorial Medical Center, where he was asked to join the teaching staff and was voted “Most Outstanding Teacher” in 1985 by the residents.
BEGINNING ANEW IN PALM DESERT
After 20 years in Los Angeles, Dr. Ball moved to the Coachella Valley in late 1999, and in early 2003 opened Cosmetic Surgery Institute. Five years later he sold his practice to his friend and colleague, Dr. Mo Zakhireh. They’ve maintained their friendship, and, after so many years of traveling, golfing, biking, doing spec-building projects with his wife Lorna at Bighorn Country Club, and landscape projects, Dr. Mo asked Dr. Ball to rejoin him at CSI.
“Dr. Zakhireh took a world class cosmetic facility and made it better! He’s added a truly remarkable staff with 4 full-time Estheticians, nurses and a great surgical staff. I’m truly honored and humbled to be able to have a 2nd career again back at home at CSI. And, adding Stem Cell Therapy to our surgical options is really exciting”.
